EFLAPS Home Page

E-FLAPS was started with the intention of encouraging new flyers as well as providing support and encouragement for all those interested in radio controlled silent flight. Our members have experience with both sailplanes and e-power models.

The founder of E-FLAPS, Fred Rutan, saw the rapidly increasing popularity of Ready-To-Fly models and the need for a local inexpensive club to offer advice, instruction, and continuing support.

Members can answer any questions you may have, and E-FLAPS provides access to an AMA insured flying site. As the club grows, it continues to provide all club members and guests with a fun, friendly, and safe flying environment. Dues range from $10 to $30 per year with a special rate for families.

E-FLAPS is an AMA Chartered organization and AMA membership is required to join. Please visit the Join AMA web page if you are not currently an AMA member.
